We had a good game, because we were facing a team who wanted to play good football. We worked hard, but we did it well, as we’ve been doing recently.

Kroos

He was the best player on the pitch and scored his first goal. I’m taken aback by how good he is. His goal was on the counter and he’s free to go up and attack. When he goes, Modric stays. It’s a good pairing and they play well.

I value the work of the strikers, especially from a defensive point of view. That’s what the team needs. They all did well. It’s nothing new for Bale or Cristiano to score.

Rotation in goal

It was time for Keylor Navas to play, because he’s been training well and he needs the motivation. He was good. Now I can play him in other matches.

Isco substitute

James had played 30 minutes less in the last game and that’s why he started. Next time the opposite could happen.
