"I’m happy about the record but the points are what count"

Leo Messi spoke to the television cameras on a night in which he became the player to have scored the most goals in Champions League history.

Champions League record: “I’m happy about the record. It makes me very happy to have achieved such a nice record in such an important competition - but what really mattered were the three points we took from tonight’s match. Barça put in a great game”.

No limits: “We will try to continue doing what we’ve been doing up until now and reach the objectives that Barcelona set. We have to carry on in this direction”.

Next up, PSG: “It’s going to be a very difficult game. We lost to them when we met in Paris; they have fantastic players and they’re a side which is growing and getting stronger. We’ll do our best to put in a good game so that we can end top of the group”.
