Javier Faus, Barcelona vice-president, spoke in Qatar during the presentation of a new advertising campaign including the club and Qatar Airways and was asked about the current legal situation at the club. “We’re the leading club in the world over the last 10 years thanks to the different presidents, coaches and players we’ve had. When you have so much success its normal for some people not to like it”, he said. He then went to say “at the end, regarding this matters, the truth will end up coming up. We’re going to keep defending our innocence and we continue to think that we did things right regarding the matter (signing Neymar)”.
“We’re very happy with what the team has done in the past five years and of the economic position in which we find ourselves”, said Faus.
