Nuno insists: “Gayà’s focused on Valencia, he’s happy here”

Nuno Espirito Santo says his players are focused, committed and ready for tomorrow’s meeting with Córdoba. Once again the Valencia coach ratified that José Gayà is happy at the club and not considering leaving and that they player and Dani Pareja are both negotiating new deals.

“All of the players who are in the process of renewing terms are focused on the work we’re doing and are happy here at Valencia. They’re putting their body and soul into a project which is growing and requires the help of everyone at the club,” Nuno said in today’s press conference.

Valencia are guests at Córdoba tomorrow evening – a deceptive game he says. “They are in need of points but then so are we; we’re similar in that respect in that every game both of us play from now on is of great importance and all of them are going to be difficult. Because of their precarious situation, Córdoba will be extra-motivated and will play an intense game against us. I’m expecting an emotional game but we want to win.,” Bruno explained, adding that Bruno Zuculini, on-loan at the Nuevo Arcángel from Manchester City will require special attention. “He was with us for a while, he knows the routine, how we function, who we prepare… as does Djukic. Every game has its own plan and we’ll be looking to exploit their weak points and make the most of our virtues. Bruno knows us and we respect him”.
