Luis Suárez to be presented ahead of the Trofeo Gamper

FC Barcelona announced on Thursday evening that Luis Suárez will take part in both of Friday’s training sessions and will be officially presented, along with their other summer signings, before Monday’s Trofeo Gamper season curtain raiser against Club León.

The Uruguayan striker will train for the first time with his new employers on Monday at 9:30 hours at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper. He will return to Barça’s training facilities later for the second session of the day at 18:30 hours. Luis Suárez and his team mates have been grated Saturday off to rest but will be back at the training ground at 9:30 on Sunday morning.

Luis Suárez, together with Barça’s other new arrivals will attend the XXXV Barcelona’s Supporters’ groups Congress at the Palau de Congressos de Catalunya at 13:00 hours on Monday and together with all of the summer signings will be formally unveiled at Camp Nou at 19:30 – one hour before Barça take on Club León in the 49th Trofeo Gamper tournament.

The player will pose for the cameras outside of Camp Nou’s offices at midday on Tuesday and then give a press conference, with Director of Sport Andoni Zubizarreta and vicepresident Jordi Mestre.
