Sevilla take Banega off Valencia’s hands for 2.5M euros

Valencia and Sevilla reached an agreement this evening for the transfer of Argentine midfielder, Éver Banega who will join the Andalucians for a 2.5 million-euro fee.

The player, who has not appeared with Valencia since returning from a loan spell at Newell’s Old Boys, is already travelling to Seville to complete his move.

Banega will be reacquainted with his old coach Unai Emery at Sevilla and curiously, could make his debut against Valencia at the Sánchez Pizjuán on the opening day on Saturday.
