Piqué, Jordi Alba and Douglas in the Barça squad for Paris

Barça travel to Paris on Monday to participate in one of the most eagerly awaited matches in the group phase of this years Champions League. Luis Enrique’s side take on Paris Saint-Germain at the Parque de Prínces in a game between two candidates hoping to make the final to be held in Berlin.


Luis Enrique today announced his squad list after the team trained at Camp Tito Vilanova at the Joan Gamper Sports Centre. The Asturian coach will take 20 players to Paris, amongst them, the list includes the return of Gerard Piqué, Jordi Alba and Douglas Pereira. Also scheduled to travel are Barça B players, Munir and Sandro.


Rafinha y Masip, both injured don´t make the squad along with Montoya and Vermaelen, both omitted by the Barça coach. The final list is composed of: Ter Stegen, C. Bravo, Piqué, Rakitic, Sergio, Xavi, Pedro, A. Iniesta, Messi, Neymar, Mascherano, Bartra, Douglas S., Jordi Alba, Sergi Roberto, Adriano, Dani Alves, Mathieu, Sandro and Munir.


Before announcing the squad-list, Luis Enrique oversaw a training session with all available players which saw Rafinha, Masip and Munir carry out a specific programme. Vermaelen also carried out a unique training plan. This morning’s work-out was complemented by Barça B players, Sandro, Pol Calvet, Bicho and Diagne.
