Sergi Roberto was at the Camp Nou offices today to sign a contract extension which will tie him to FC Barcelona until June 2019. The player adds four years onto his existing contract which was due to expire next year and sees his buy-out clause boosted from 30 million euros to 40 million.
Sergi Roberto told the club web page: "I’ve been at this club for eight years and to renew my contract is a dream come true. I will try to help the team as best as I can – the coach has told us that he will all of us at some point during the season. Hopefully this will be a good year for us; I hope we can win some silverware”.
