Varane extends Real Madrid contract until 2020

Real Madrid announced this afternoon that Raphaël Varane has amplified his contract with the club until 30 June 2020.

Varane joined Madrid aged 18, signing from Lens in the summer of 2011. Now in his fourth season with the club, the centre-back has already built up an impressive honours list which includes one League title, the Champions League, one Copa del Rey, one Spanish Supercup and one European Super Cup.

He made his Madrid debut on 21 September 2011 in the 0-0 draw against Racing Club at El Sardinero. Since then he has made 74 first team appearances in which he has scored four goals.
