Paco Alcácer made it clear in front of more than 200 supporters’ club members that he has no desire other than to renew his contract with Valencia. The striker answered a question from a supporter by stating: “I am from Valencia and I want to continue here.”
Alcácer, whose renewal, Rufete revealed, is in a phase of “sudden acceleration”, said that he “hopes the issue is soon closed”.
The youngster thanked the Valencia supporters for the affection “that they give me” and the club for “helping me to arrive in the national team set-up”. Alcácer is expected to be named in Vicente del Bosque’s forthcoming squad on Friday.
