Vitolo: "The pressure’s on Barcelona, not on Sevilla"

Vitolo, the Sevilla winger, put the pressure on Barcelona ahead of the two title-chasing teams’ meeting at the Camp Nou on Saturday.

He told Sevilla’s official media channels: “Barcelona are always obliged to win. We have to keep ourselves high up the pitch, but against teams like Barcelona or Real Madrid it is always difficult to get something positive. The pressure is on them, we have to be close together, because I think that we can hurt them on the counter.”

Vitolo, however, does not believe there is a crisis at the Catalan club. He added: “Barça are always Barça, they have players with a lot of quality that are worth many millions. You have to produce the perfect match, you have to do it amazingly, to win there.

“With Celta, they had many chances, many shots against the post and so on. The ball didn’t go in, and Celta had one or two chances and they took one. We must produce that match, so that they don’t have their day and we make it complicated.”
