Douglas set to make his Camp Nou debut

There are still people who are adamant that Douglas has sufficient quality top play in Barça's first team. With a ban on training sessions being recorded and just two games in Luis Enrique’s side under his belt in the past four months (the league game away to Málaga and the first leg of the Copa del Rey game in Huesca), there are plenty of doubts for the Barça fan to contend with. Luis Enrique is determined to stick with the player and more so tonight as a result of Alves being out with injury. Martín Montoya’s lack of playing time remains a mystery and Adriano, who could compete with Douglas position-wise will play on the left-hand side.

The club doesn’t expect that many fans will, attend tonight's game, so Douglas won't benefit the scrutiny that a league or Champions League game would afford him. The lack of spectators is something to be expected. The tie is as good as resolved with Barça being four goals ahead following the first leg.. Even the Huesca players have admitted so much. They were far more focused on their 2B victory last weekend against Trival Valderas than they are in getting their batteries charged for the obligatory pictures from one of the world’s finest stadiums.
