Carvajal: "We didn't want a repeat of Anoeta"

After Madrid’s 2-0 victory over Villarreal Dani Carvajal spoke to Gol TV. He analysed the game, saying: “We went in at the break and we didn’t want a repeat of what happened at Anoeta. We know all about suffering. We didn’t talk about it because that crisis is in the past, those defeats were forgotten the following day. We are getting better, we feel good and we have to continue.”

Villarreal’s Bruno also spoke after the match, saying: “We lacked something today. In the first half we played well but we came up against the counter-attack that Madrid are good at. Then, at 2-0, it’s difficult. We tried to get an early goal but it was more complicated. On Thursday we have another match, and on Sunday. We want to get a good result for our fans.”
