Incredible but true. All the tickets for Málaga – Rayo Vallecano, this Sunday at midday, are sold out. There are, though, a number of reasons behind the rapid sales of the seats for the match between the teams in 8th (Málaga) and 9th in the Liga.
Given that it’s Children’s Day the club put 4,000 tickets on sale at five euros for children and 10 for accompanying adults. These of course sold out straight away. And Rayo played their part, asking for 250 tickets for their season ticket holders, at 25 euros each. The chance to watch top flight football before lunch presumably did the rest, with the end result being that the Rosaleda will be full to its 30,000 capacity on Sunday.
Málaga have also announced that striker Samu Castillejo has renewed his contract through to 2018. The player said it was a “dream” to be able to play for his home side.
