Messi and Cristiano set to meet again on November 18

Argentina’s national coach, Gerardo ‘Tata’ Martino, has announced his squad for their forthcoming international matches. Both matches are friendly matches and will be played on British soil in mid-November. On November 12 Argentina will face Croatia in London and six days later, on November 18, they will face Portugal and Cristiano Ronaldo in Manchester, at Cristiano’s former home Old Trafford.


The squad list, which is led by Barça’s Lionel Messi, also sees the return of Carlos Tévez. The Juventus forward, who has not pulled on the national shirt since the Copa America in 2011, gets his chance more than three years later after failing to find favour with former Argentina coach Alejandro Sabella.


Along with the front two, the other 23 members to make Martino's squad are:
