FC Barcelona player Ivan Rakitic has said his coach, Luis Enrique, has “very clear ideas” and is thorough in his preparation for matches, although he added that for things to go well everyone must work and paddle in the same direction. “Luis Enrique has very clear ideas, he is a coach who prepares with every detail,” the Croatian international said in an interview with ‘UEFA.com’ conducted by Europa Press.
For Rakitic, to put these details into place everyone needs to work together as a unit, not as individual players. “We need everyone to do well for the car to work,” he said.
“I know I have to learn and I always try to take steps forward. A player can show his full potential if he feels happy and integrated and I’ve felt this since my first day at Barcelona,” he said sincerely on his arrival at the Camp Nou.
In particular, he wants to learn from Xavi, Iniesta and Busquets. “To wear this shirt is a dream come true, it’s a wonderful feeling. All youngsters dream of this.
