Sergio Ramos with the group for the first time on Thursday and has set his sights on playing in this weekend's Clásico against Barcelona. Gareth Bale, on the other hand, did not train and is almost certain to miss out on Saturday.
Centre-back Ramos had to leave Spain’s training camp on October 6 after suffering discomfort in his right calf and was unable to play in the Euro 2016 qualifiers against Slovakia and Luxembourg.
Since then, the former Sevilla man has not featured for Real Madrid, although it was speculated that he would return to action for Wednesday’s Champions League clash against Liverpool at Anfield. In the end, Real Madrid decided against taking the risk and he did not travel to England.
Meanwhile, the Real Madrid players who started Wednesday’s 3-0 win at Anfield completed a recovery session earlier on Thursday.
