Takefusa Kubo ‘Take’ is one of the most promising young players in La Masía. The 13-year-old, who plays as a deep-lying forward, started out in FC Barcelona’s schools in Fukuoka, Japan joined the Catalans in 2010 and currently lives in the Condal City with his parents. But the player’s future with Barça is uncertain – Barcelona were found guilty of violating FIFA Regulations regarding the status and transfer of players and Take, along with another six players from the youth academy have been banned from playing until they are 18 years of age.
