Marc Bartra returned to train with the Barcelona squad on Wednesday morning after spending the first two days of the week exercising apart.
Xavi Hernández and Marc-André Ter Stegen were taken through their own recovery programmes while Vermaelen continued with his physiotherapy treatment. Adriano and Neymar both completed part of the session along with the rest of the squad.
The 20 first team players were joined by four reserves: Grimaldo, Samper, Sandro and Munir.
Neymar completed the evening session with the rest of the players. The Brazilian has slowly been reintroduced to Barça’s sessions over the past few days but was able to complete the entire 90-minute workout for the first time today despite still not having the medical all-clear. He is hopeful of being declared fit to take part in Monday’s Trofeo Joan Gamper tournament which sees Barça take on Mexican outfit, Club León de Guanajuato.
