"Messi is the best in the world, playing against him is not easy"

Neymar was interviewed by members of the press in Beijing earlier, ahead of the “Clásico de las Américas” game where Brazil take on eternal rivals Argentina tomorrow in the Chinese capital. The Brazilian player was repeatedly asked about the prospect of playing against his Barça team-mate, Lionel Messi.

“Playing alongside him is a great honour; he’s the best player in the world. Playing against him is not pleasant. We hope that he has a bad day and doesn’t see much of the ball. We all realise that we can’t give him time to think or start his mazy runs. Well, we basically can’t let him do anything. But, we do have to win the game", added the Brazilian player.
