La Roja arrive in Luxembourg: "Angered following defeat"

The Spanish national squad arrived earlier in Luxembourg, where they are scheduled to play their next qualification match for the 2016 European Championship on Sunday.

After last night’s defeat against Slovakia, the players are aware of the deluge of criticism their 1-2 reverse has generated in the media but the overall feeling and desire in the squad is rectifying the situation as expressed by Inisteta in his tweet.

"We leave for Luxembourg. Angered by last night’s defeat but keen to play and win Sunday’s game", posted the Barça player on the social media platform.

The Spanish team left Piestany airport and arrived in Luxembourg at 1300 (CET). The team will spend their time in the Grand Duchy at Hotel Le Royal. A press conference at 1740 will precede a closed training session this evening.

Tomorrow the team will train at the Josy Barthel stadium ahead of the the match on Sunday (kick-off 2045 CET). The Spanish team and expedition plan to return to Madrid on Monday.
