Vicente del Bosque oversaw the Spanish national team’s training session this evening in Las Rozas and in the practice match, placed Koke, Isco, Callejón and Pedro together with Alcácer as a forward. In this team both Sergio Ramos and Albiol played as center backs. This may be a sign as to the team the coach may field on Saturday’s Euro 2016 qualifying game in Huelva against Belarus.
The session started with a gentle jog and warm-up session, the group then practiced short passing ball-work. Del Bosque then divided the group into two teams with Busquets acting as a free agent. One team was made up of, Casillas; Azpilicueta, Ramos, Jordi Alba; Callejón, Koke, Isco, Pedro; and Alcácer. Whilst the other was composed of, De Gea; Juanfran, Bartra, Bernat; Cazorla, Camacho, Raúl García, Nolito; and Morata.
Jordi Alba was the last player to leave the pitch at the national training center in Las Rozas and was deep in conversation with team doctor Óscar Celada, seemingly complaining of a slight pain in his right foot, although it appears to be nothing serious..
The Spanish squad will train at Las Rozas until Friday and then travel to Huelva where they face Belarus on Saturday. Spain then face world champions, Germany, in a friendly next Tuesday in Vigo.
