Midfielder Bruno Zuculini has terminated his season-long loan deal with Valencia. The player was not in the plans of Nuno Espirito Santo and the deal was not of benefit to either party.
Zuculini will return to Manchester City, although Córdoba also want him on loan and a deal is close. However, it remains to be seen if the player can play for three different clubs in one season. He featured for City in the Community Shield match last summer but City consider that game to be part of last season, not this.
Barragán renews until 2017
Meanwhile, Antonio Barragán has signed a new deal with Valencia that will keep him at the club for two more seasons. The midfielder has signed for Los Che until 2017, as reported in the print edition of AS.
The verbal agreement was finalised on Wednesday night and the new deal was penned on Friday morning. Barragán is the second player to have been handed a new deal this week after Paco Alcácer pledged his future to the Mestalla club.
