Víctor Fernández: "We don’t fear Barça”

Deportivo coach Víctor Fernández claimed that his team do not fear Barcelona ahead of their game at the Riazor Stadium. “It’s a game that demands everything. You have to give it your all and maintain a maximum level of concentration. But fear, no, my team aren't scared of anyone.”

“We have to play with strength and a lot of patience but also offer something going forward. We’re not going to park the bus,” he said.

“You need character because when you play against top sides it makes you constantly respond. Measuring up to either Madrid or Barcelona is always good,” he added.

“You have to defend with strength and play together. You have to be well organised and offer something when you have the ball. It’s obvious that we’re going to see less of it but when we do have it we need to make it count,” he concluded.
