Bruno Soriano was forced off the Camp Nou pitch 29 minutes into Villarreal’s Copa del Rey clash at Barcelona. The midfielder was visibly in pain after an injury to his right knee. Bruno was injured when he tried to intercept the ball from Iniesta inside the penalty area.
He was taken off on a stretcher on the medical vehicle and two minutes later, when he signalled that he could not continue. He was replaced by Trigueros. Villarreal will now diagnose the extent of the injury.
Gio Dos Santos also had to leave the pitch. He was in discomfort just after Barça’s second goal and was replaced by Rukavina.
