Messi, Piqué and Cesc in the casino: "We had a good time"

Leo Messi, Gerard Piqué and Cesc Fábregas spent last night at the Casino in Barcelona, as confirmed by pictures in The Mirror. The Chelsea player travelled to Barcelona and was reunited with his former team-mates a day after the Catalan club fell to defeat against Málaga in La Liga. The setback left Barça four points adrift of Real Madrid at the top of La Liga.

The players were photographed leaving the casino on Sunday night. Hours later Messi and Piqué were spotted at El Prat airport where they joined the rest of the squad to fly to Manchester. The Catalans have a big match on Tuesday when they face Manchester City in the last-16 of the Champions League.

Piqué, who appeared at the pre-match press conference in Manchester, spoke about his night at the casino with Messi and Cesc: “I was with a friend from London ansd we had a good time”. Then Luis Enrique settled the issue: “It’s part of his private life, I concentrate on football.”
