Odegaard: "It was great to get my first goal here"

Martin Odegaard spoke in the mixed zone on the day he scored his first official goal in the shirt of Real Madrid Castilla. The Norwegian international broke the deadlock in the 4-0 rout of Barakaldo. He showed his delight to the media who continue to monitor the youngster’s progress. “It was great to get my first goal here, it feels amazing. I don’t know what I’ll do with this shirt, I’ll keep it I think.”

Odegaard talked about his situation with Castilla and his adaptation to the team. “I feel very comfortable, Zidane is a great coach and he helps me a lot.” He also spoke about life alongside the first team, with whom he’s already trained with. “It’s amazing to train with the best players in the world. I learn every day from them and Ancelotti is a great person, the best coach for Real Madrid.”
