Real Madrid captain Iker Casillas, forgot which round of the competition he’s playing in when he turned to Twitter earlier. Real Madrid play Schalke tomorrow in the Bernabéu IN the round of 16 (the octavos in Spanish) and are hopeful of qualification to the quarter-finals given their 2-0 lead from the first leg. However Iker tweeted this:
“Ready to seal qualification to the round of 16 of the #UCL. Great news with Luka’s return for this phase”
Alongside a photo of Modric. He (or his social media manager...) soon spotted the mistake and tweeted that it was in fact the quarter-finals.
