"It’s unfair that Cristiano can play and not Otamendi

Cristiano gets a reprieve and not Otamendi: “I’m not one to read between the lines here but I don’t think it’s fair that Cristiano gets to play but not Nico. Still, it’s now in the past and there is now way we can use it as an excuse. We need to play against Levante and get the three points”.

Levante: “This is another final for us. We need to dig deep and make sure we do not conceded any points on Monday. We need to play with intensity. It’s the city derby and we have to win”.

Pressure: “In the last few games there has been plenty at stake . Each side playing for their respective objectives. We’ve had a decent run recently and are playing at home. If we can call upon that fight and desire as we showed on Thursday than we’re halfway there”.

Last game of the fixtures: “When you play last you know what your rivals have done. If they haven’t won then it changes your mentality but if they win it adds an additional pressure. It’s not a major deal however”.

Possible sanction for Nuno and Salvo: “Getting to play in next seasons Champions is a major priority for us. What the coach and president did was simply request some respect. The decisions that went against us in Bilbao could be very damaging”.

Atlético and Sevilla still in European competition: “It’s a benefit for us that these sides are playing more. In theory it’s an advantage for us but you never know in football”.

Contract renovation: “I’m very happy here. I’m just focused on the eight remaining games and getting a Champions League place for Valencia. We’ll see what happens after that”.
