Kroos chosen as player of the weekend with 73% of the votes

Toni Kroos’s great performance for Real Madrid against Rayo Vallecano on Saturday has seen him come top of a poll carried out amongst AS.com readers in choosing the weekends’ best player.

The German secured 73% of the vote, coming ahead of Luis Suárez, who impressed in the second half of Barça’s trip away to Almeria on Saturday. The Uruguayan striker secured a second placing with 17,85% of the votes going his way.

The podium was completed by Mexican, Carlos Vela. The Real Sociedad player was outstanding for his club against Atlético Madrid last night at Anoeta and consequently received 6% of the votes. The reminder of the vote for Week 11 fixtures went to: Godín (Atlético) 1%, Thievy (Almería) 0,58% , Trujillo (Almeria), with 0,46%.
