Madrid return to training after Christmas break

Real Madrid returned to training this morning eight days after winning the World Club Cup against San Lorenzo in Morocco. Carlo Ancelotti oversaw the session where the players worked on short and long passing moves. Prior to the ball work, the squad completed a gentle warm-up finished up with light aerobics. Casillas, Keylor Navas and Pacheco then worked apart with specialist goalkeeping coach, Villiam Vecchi.

The squad will complete their second session of the day at 1700. This will be an open doors event where all 'socios' can attend free of charge. Such was the demand to see the squad train, that all available spaces have been occupied with many families expected to attend the session in Valdebebas. This session will be held in Castilla’s pitch, the Alfedo Di Stéfano and can be watched live on Realmadrid.com and Real Madrid TV.

After training the team make their way to Madrid’s Barajas airport to board a flight that will take them to Dubai where they will face AC Milan on Tuesday.
