Fernando Torres was out for lunch yesterday (Friday), with Atleti president Enrique Cerezo and managing director Miguel Ángel Gil Marín. Both Cerezo and Gil Marín were focused during the lunch on transmitting to the footballer that they have complete faith in him, and that they are delighted and excited by his return to the club. Also invited to the welcome lunch were Caminero and Berta, as well as two highly trusted individuals from the company that handles the player’s affairs.
Meanwhile Torres continues to seek a return to top form. THe player is carrying out a mini pre-season, with the objective of being in prime condition as soon as possible. El Niño has placed himself in the hands of physical coach Óscar Ortega, ‘el Profe’ (the teacher), who knows him inside out.
