RAC 1 say Chelsea have already called Messi's father

On Monday, Catalan radio station RAC 1 reported that Chelsea have already contacted Lionel Messi’s father to propose the possibility of the Argentinian arriving at Stamford Bridge next season. According to information, Chelsea would be willing to pay the footballer’s 250m euros release clause fee.

As AS reported a few days ago, coinciding with the start of the year, 2015 is the year that Chelsea will attempt to sign Messi, who, curiously, started to follow the London club on Instagram earlier this week. A few months ago, Direct TV also reported this possibility, arguing that Messi wanted to test himself in the Premier League, that he has been learning English and that he could not stand senior figures at Barcelona, arguments which could now be added to his current rift with coach Luis Enrique.
