How are you?
I’m bruised, but with regards to how serious the injury is, it could have been much worse. The worst part is that it has come at a very important time of the season and I’m going to miss a lot of games.
You’re going to miss a lot of games at a crucial part of the season, is this the part that hurts most?
I really wanted to help the team and now I won’t be able to for a while, that leave me really disappointed. Not being able to help the team will be the worst part.
Did it seem serious to you when it happened?
I quickly realised that after going down it was serious, I felt a crack. I already knew it would be something that would leave me unable to play for a while. I am told that in two months I may be able to return, so I have hope to return and help the team.
So you will miss two months now?
From now it will just be a day-to-day job and I’ll look to return as soon as possible, the idea is to reduce the recovery time.
Will it be hard for you?
Yes, it will be hard to watch the games on television and from the stands. But it is what it is. I have to be calm, go slowly and recover well.
Do the team seem hit by the loss?
It is normal that the team will be hit when someone is injured, it is a blow for everyone.
The team should not lower their arms…
Despite my injury the team must keep fighting and fighting, something I am sure they will do. I am convinced the team will face things well and will continue to fight.
