As reported in today’s print edition of AS, Keylor Navas could start for Madrid against Deportivo La Coruña on Saturday at the Bernabéu (kick-off 18:00 CET). Carlo Ancelotti’s training regime on Wednesday suggested that the Costa Rican could form part of his starting line-up. The idea seems to sit well with internet users on AS.com, with 75 per cent of the nearly 5,000 users to vote preferring Navas to start ahead of Iker Casillas against Deportivo.
If Navas does start it will be the first time in three months he will have started a league game. The last time he started was on Nobermber 8 last year when he started in the home match against Rayo Vallecano. Since then, he has played three games in the Copa del Rey and two in the Champions League.
