Salvo on Gayà: "Every renewal will happen in its own time"

Valencia president Amadeo Salvo spoke to the media about the contract renewal of Javi Fuego until 2017, as well as the pending contract extensions of other players including Jose Luis Gayà.

“We said that between January and March we were going to contact the players who wanted to renew. We spoke with agents and are currently in the process. Every renewal will happen in its own time and we are working with those players who still have deals to renew. We have a positive outlook. As the weeks progress there will be more news.” His words surround the futures of Gayà, Parejo, Feghouli and Piatti.

Regarding Javi Fuego, who followed in the footsteps of Paco Alcácer and Barragán in penning a new deal, Amadeo said the Spaniard “has earned his renewal through his effort and hard work.” He added that “he has the qualities that we look for: commitment, solidarity and values with the club.”
