"It is an honour for young players to play in this league"

Valencia defender Shkodran Mustafi spoke to the press following his side's impressive win over Sevilla, which catapulted Los Che into fourth place in La Liga.

Performances against weaker teams: "The team knows that we have dropped points against smaller clubs. One of our objectives for the second half of the season is to sop doing that."

Playing Málaga on Monday: "We work all week and there's no difference. The objective this week is Monday and we'll do everything the same as we normally would."

Ronaldo ban: "We have enough to keep ourselves occupied with training and the people who are in charge of these things will do what they think is right. What I would like to see is the same punishment being handed out for everybody for the same thing."

As a World Cup winner, what did you make of Ronaldo's action with the Club World Cup badge? "It was a way of expressing his frustration. I don't look at the stars on the shirt when I play for Germany, that's the past. When I play for my country I want to do the best I can. Everybody is free to express themselves as they see fit and the truth is I'm not interested in the whole thing."

La Liga impressions: "I had not idea the level would be so high. It is an honour for young players like me to play in this league. Every team has great players."

Tactical changes: "The most important thing is that the coach trusts in me to play in one system or the other."

Playing with a four-man midfield: "The manager decides the pros and cons and the players have to adapt to what he asks of us in each match."

Málaga: "It's a very important game. From here all matches are important and we can't afford to let up at all."
