Arda trains with Atleti and is set to start in Leverkusen

Arda Turan has trained without problems at the BayArena and is set to start for Atlético against Bayer Leverkusen. The news will be welcome for coach Diego Simeone, who in the pre-match press conference said that “when he plays, everything changes.”

The talented Turkey international trained at the same pace as his team-mates and did not seem to suffer from the bruised thigh that stopped him from training on Sunday and Monday. The main question is who will start on the other wing: Raùl García or Saul Ñíguez.

Uruguayan José María Giménez also trained with the group after recovering from a fever.

Miguel Angel Moyá is set to start in goal, with Juanfran, Miranda, Godín and Siqueira in defence, Gabi and Tiago in centre midfield and Mario Mandzukic and Antoine Griezmann in attack.
