David Luiz and Thiago Motta doubts for Barcelona match

Brazilian defender David Luiz suffered an injury 35 minutes into Paris St. Germain’s victory over Marseille in Ligue 1 on Sunday night.

The former Chelsea man felt a twinge in the back of his left thigh and fell to the ground before asking to be substituted. Dutchman Gregory van der Wiel replaced him.

Midfielder Thiago Motta also failed to finish the game as he suffered from hamstring problems.

Both injuries leave the players as doubts for the Champions League quarter-final clash against Barcelona, which takes place on April in Paris.

Laurent Blanc’s team will also got into the first leg of that match with Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Italian Marco Verratti suspended.
