Messi: "We need to keep battling in every game"

Lionel Messi is anxious that no-one at the club takes their foot off the gas, despite the great series of results the team are securing. Messi is well aware of the vital importance of the forthcoming games in both La Liga and Champions League and sent a message of encouragement to all involved in the club.

"We won today, but there is still plenty to do", wrote the number 10 on his Facebook account after the team’s 4-0 home victory against Almeria that sees Luis Enrique’s team maintain their four point cushion at the top of La Liga, despite the team delivering a low key performance at the Camp Nou.
