Real Madrid fans are annoyed with the price they’ve been asked to pay to secure one of the allocated 500 away match tickets. They feel that the established price of €111 for a seat in the top row of the stadium with a very poor view is excessive. The annoyance is even greater when taken into consideration the face that Barça fans were charged €70 for the game between both teams at the Santiago Bernabéu in October of last year.
“I’m not sure of exactly what Neymar cost Barça, but it’s us that are paying for him”, was one of the sarcastic comments from a supporter resigned to the fate of paying more than a hundred euro for his match ticket. Last season a trip to the Camp Nou for the Madrid fans cost 99 euro. Despite the inflated match ticket, all 500 allocated tickets have been sold. Madrid fans are keen to accompany their team knowing that the game is crucial in defining the possible league champion albeit the tickets being surprisingly high given the current economic climate.
