After Barcelona v PSG, there were knife attacks on several French fans. Some cases could be related to pure robbery attempts, while another, or perhaps more than one, were simply pure barbarism. Barça, and Spanish football in general, has been darkened with this new act of barbarism that the police must resolve as soon as possible. You cannot blame the police, of course, but the resolution must be required.
I say this because last night three Atleti ultras had not yet emerged. They had been pictured in all of the national press who distinguished themselves, as pure prawns, at Juventus’ ground. From what one sees, they still can’t identify them. So clueless were the police regarding these groups and events. That inevitably contrasts with the attitude of Madrid, who the other day threw, ‘by military force’, 17 ultras with the belief that they were in the thick of the undesirable chants that were heard.
Well, what Madrid knows about their own the Police must know about all, or they should know. And if not, it has done a bad job. We have lived with this for a long time.
