Lucas Silva’s father, Miguel Vieira, spoke to MG Superesportes about the possible move of his son to Real Madrid. Although he claimed to know little about details of the move, he outlined his plans for his son: "The objective for Lucas and at the same time for his family is that he moves in six months or so (June 2015). The idea is to close the negotiation now but he leaves in half a year’s time. The important thing for him is to have pre season with the rest of the team and also play in the Libertadores with Cruzeiro". The father showcased this as the ideal situation adding, "If he wants things to work out in a different way and he moves to Europe before, we’ll be delighted".
Miguel Vieira pointed out that Cruzeiro won’t let his son go for a sum under 15 million euro and outlined his family’s plan relating to the transfer: "If the move goes ahead, we’ll move to Spain to support him and be with him to assist with his adaptation to the new city, new team-mates...". Lucas Silva who, when speaking to AS earlier in the week, revealed that he would never imagined him playing alongside Cristiano, is still on holiday hopeful that Cruzeiro and Real Madrid close the negotiation for his transfer to the Spanish capital.
